Susquehanna Bancshares, Inc., is a regional financial services holding company with assets of approximately $14 billion. Its retail and commercial banking subsidiary, Susquehanna Bank, provides financial services at more than 225 branches throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Its market territory is characterized by economically and demographically diverse areas, ranging from metropolitan regions of Baltimore and Philadelphia to growing suburbs and historic small towns. In many of these communities, the bank has roots dating back more than 100 years.

Through Susquehanna Wealth Management, the company offers investment, fiduciary, brokerage, insurance, retirement planning and private banking services. Susquehanna also operates an insurance and employee benefits company, a commercial finance company and a vehicle leasing company.

Susquehanna Bancshares’ long-term strategic plan includes three main components: growing the business by expanding the customer base in existing markets and pursuing acquisitions in selected markets; building enduring customer relationships through sales and service; and focusing on risk management.

Founded in 1982, Susquehanna Bancshares has grown from a one-bank holding company into a regional financial services firm that offers a diverse array of products and expertise. At the same time, Susquehanna strives to remain true to its roots in community banking. Its corporate mission is to help customers achieve their financial goals, to deliver a superior return for shareholders, and to build the economic strength of local communities.
