Moog Inc. is a worldwide designer, manufacturer, and integrator of precision control components and systems. Moog's high-performance systems control military and commercial aircraft, satellites and space vehicles, launch vehicles, missiles, automated industrial machinery, marine and medical equipment. Moog financial reporting is based on five segments:

Aircraft is our largest segment. We design and build primary and secondary flight controls for military and commercial aircraft, both on an original equipment basis and in the aftermarket.

Space and Defense designs and builds controls for military and commercial satellites, space vehicles, launch vehicles, missiles, submarines, homeland defense and combat applications.

Industrial is our most diverse segment in terms of geography, customers and applications. This segment designs and builds products for markets that include plastics, turbines, steel mills, textiles, flight simulators, and metal forming equipment. A significant percentage of revenues are generated overseas. The company has operations across Europe, Asia, Australia and South America.

Components is the world's leading manufacturer of slip rings--devices that allow the transmission of electric power or electronic data across a rotating joint. Applications include CT scan machines, aircraft and military vehicles.

Medical Devices brings our core capabilities in fluid and motion control to the infusion pump business. Our infusion pumps and administration kids provide intravenous, inter-arterial, subcutaneous, or epidural flow of fluids or medications that require continuous delivery at controlled rates.

FY 2007 Revenue split:

Net Sales: $1.5586 million; Net Earnings: $101 million, Diluted Earnings Per Share $2.34

Commercial 40% and Military 60%; U.S. 57% and overseas businesses 43%; Aircraft Controls 38%; Industrial Systems 28%; Space & Defense 12%; Components 18%; Medical Devices 4%.
