Introduction

CTS Corporation, is a leading designer and manufacturer of electronic components and sensors and actuators, and a provider of electronics manufacturing services (EMS) to OEMs in the automotive, computer, communications, industrial, medical, aerospace and defense markets. CTS manufactures products in North America, Europe and Asia.

What We Do/Strategy

Using our extensive capability in materials technology and applications engineering, we develop customized products that serve our global and diverse customer base with complex needs. Our growth strategy includes initiatives related to ongoing new product introductions, geographic market expansion particularly in Asia, broadening our customer base and acquisitions that add shareholder value.

Sensors and Components Segment

We design and manufacture an extensive line of automotive sensors, actuators and subsystems used in powertrain, safety, suspension, fuel and emissions control systems; ceramic and crystal-based engineered electronic components used primarily in communications infrastructure equipment; and piezo-electronic materials, ball-grid array terminations and resistor networks used in computer, medical, aerospace and defense and industrial applications.

EMS Segment

Our Electronics Manufacturing Solutions (EMS) operation specializes in value-added products and services for customers throughout the medical, aerospace and defense, industrial, computer and communications markets. We focus on customers with complex, high mix, medium volume needs by providing custom manufacturing services, including complete turnkey solutions. EMS assembles electronic and mechanical components into finished sub-assemblies and final product assemblies under contract manufacturing agreements with OEMs. CTS also holds specialty FDA approval and medical, aerospace and defense registrations, which are required by many of our customers.
