Comments: In 2002, the Company changed its accounting for revenues from a gross method that included worksite employee payroll costs, to a net method that does not include such costs. Gross billings in 2002 totaled $4.9 billion. Restated revenues for 2001, reflecting the change in accounting for revenues on a net basis is as follows (Mil. $): $720.2. The accounting change had no effect on gross profit, operating income, or net income (loss).
