Arch's Treatment Products businesses manufacture and sell water-treatment chemicals, industrial and personal care biocides and specialty ingredients, and wood treatment and industrial coatings chemicals and services.
- Water Treatment. We are a global supplier of sanitizers and treatment chemicals used to destroy harmful, even life-threatening, microbes in residential and commercial pool and spa water, drinking water, and water used in commercial and industrial applications.
- Personal Care and Industrial Biocides. Arch is a leading global supplier of biocides that control dandruff on the scalp and various other uses. Our industrial biocides protect against fungus, bacteria, algae and other harmful microbes. We also develop, manufacture and market biocides for anti-bacterial applications. Our chemicals are ingredients in building products, marine and other paints, metal working fluids, health and hygiene products and textiles.
- Wood Protection and Industrial Coatings. We are a leading producer of preservatives used to protect wood against rot, fungal decay and insect infestation. Wood treated with Arch's preservatives is used for decks, gazebos, walkways, landscaping and other exposed projects. The company also manufactures and sells a wide range of wood perservatives for non-residential applications, such as marine pilings, utility poles, highway construction and other materials. Arch's industrial coatings are primarily industrial-applied or consumer-applied products for surface decoration and the protection of wood.
Arch's Performance Products segment includes the manufacture and sale of a broad range of urethane intermediate products that are critical to the performance and value of the customer's end-use products. Our polyols are used as ingredients for adhesives, coatings, elastomers, sealants and rigid foam.
